Beige and white are a great casual combination. Low contrast and simple, you can wear anything with this combination and dress it up or down.
A dressier color, this would work well when paired with a light blue dress shirt and navy blazer.
A perfectly solid choice, this will lend a lot of formality to a white suit. A dark brown casual shoe will work with any shirt you pair with white jeans.
A fun color, you can build an outfit around the green shoes and the white pants will serve as a blank backdrop for them. Take advantage of the situation and throw on some fun mint-colored shoes.
Pairing this neutral with neutral white trousers will again allow you to have all the fun you want with your shirt, jacket, and other accessories. Dress this up or down, either will work.
Light brown shoes are a great option for white trousers when you want to look dressed up, though they pair just as well casually for a dressed-down look. Elevate it with a blazer or keep it simple with a t-shirt, light brown shoes will always work.
Pair navy shoes with white jeans and some funky socks and you will definitely turn some heads. The spectators pictured here are a perfect choice.
A pair of purple shoes with your white trousers is a casual look for sure. Either let the shoes stand on their own or coordinate your accessories wisely. This is an excellent opportunity to reference the shoe color in a subtle way throughout the remainder of your outfit, be it with a pocket square, belt, cufflinks, or socks.
Similar to purple, this would be a very casual combination. Our advice on accessorizing is identical to that of purple shoes as well.
Red shoes and white trousers will look wonderful, especially if those shoes are loafers or boat shoes. This is an excellent look for the beach at night or a summer lunch outing.
White-on-white is one of the few instances in which full “matching” (as opposed to “coordinating”) is alright to do. White shoes with white trousers is definitely a bold look, but if you work some nice color in as far as your shirt and jacket go, you’ll get lots of compliments.
Acceptable Shoe Matches
We put black as “acceptable” because there are so many other options for white trousers. With that said, black shoes are well-positioned to take white trousers into the evening hours.
